FHE last week we packed up tinfoil dinners and headed to Provo Canyon to have dinner. (FYI for all those who think this is a good idea,
Nunn's Park is the only park at this time of the summer that allows you to have an open fire, all other parks have a ban)
Evelynn was so excited to help build a fire.
The determined fire makers. It turned out to be harder than expected because the park had
recently watered all their grass and fire pits, so everything was a bit damp.
After dinner we walked over to the falls to take in the view.
Evelynn braved the cold water to see the rocks on the other side, and it was very cold water!
Oh so cold!
Mommy, take me out there! There was so much dirt caked to her marshmallow crusted mouth. We were one big smokey mess of a family.
We made it! Lots of people had swim suits on and were splashing around in the pool below the falls, but luckily it was too late in the evening for us to attempt that, so we all just got our feet wet.
