Bed Time Madness

Sometimes bed time and nap time at our house can be a bit hectic. It's hard having two girls share the same room and the same nap schedule (most days at least) because just like all girls, if they are both awake, they will be talking. Well, Eloise doesn't talk, but she sure loves to listen to Evelynn talk/play with her. Sometimes they get too cozy together and I have situations like the following happen.


Doug came into the girls room one morning to find Evelynn in the crib with Eloise, playing contently. Evelynn had also confiscated Eloise's pacifier and added it to her own coveted collection. Doug caught this on film. Please don't mind the disciplining.... necessary as parents you know.



This afternoon I went in to the girls room to put Evelynn down for her nap and this is how I found Eloise. Please notice that the socks are off, she is sitting up in the corner of the crib, and the kicker... her pacifier is upside down. Unfortunatly she woke up while I was trying to move her to a more comfortable position and is now still awake, but I couldn't just leave her like that! Can you imagine the crick in her neck?! Doug and I tease eachother that our girls each took strongly after one of us, meaning Evelynn is a lot like me and Eloise is a lot like Doug. This just goes to prove it further because Doug can sleep anywhere.
