Christmas part 1

Ok, here is what you've all been waiting for, and what I have been putting off blogging about because it's been such a big job, but if I hadn't taken so many doggone pictures, it wouldn't have been such a big job! But I did because I'm a mom, and mom's document things by taking pictures. But I must say that my mad picture taking spree's were nothing compare to grandma. If my kids do not having lasting eye problems due to the bright flashing lights from cameras, I'll be surprised. But grandma's are just like that I guess. :) So here is some Christmas for you.

We had a white Christmas this year. It snowed for days and days before Christmas, and then it snowed a good bit on Christmas day. This is looking out my front door down the road a few days before Chirstmas.

The girls and I decided to try and brave a little bit of the snow before my family got here. This is at the park. We didn't get very far because it snowed about 8 inches or more in the days leading up to Christmas, but as every mom knows, sometimes you just HAVE to get out of the house!

The backyard in all it's snow covered wonder.

My family came and spent a week with us over Christmas and it was wonderful, even with 10 of us squished into one small house. We all had fun, even the teenager, though you can't tell from the pictures. On Christmas Eve we all went for a walk down Center Street in Provo to see the lights and window displays. Mark was estatic, and dressed very appropriatly for the occasion as you can tell. Can we say 16?

This is the Christmas train in front of the Provo police department.

Here is the loot on Christmas Eve. It was a lot of fun to help set up Christmas for the first time this year. I think we managed to do a pretty good job.
