Family Activities

While my family was in town we visited a place called Kangaroo Zoo in Salt Lake. It had maybe 8 or 10 huge blowup slides and obstacle courses for kids to play on and a black light mini golf course. It was a huge hit with all of the family, from Lori, Doug and Evelynn going down all the slides, to Lori stomping Doug in an obstacle course race, to Mark, Dad, and Jesse playing three"serious" mini golf games in a row. Definetly worth going to again.

Poor Eloise was terrified of the place, as you can tell in this photo. She would get really anxious if we took her too close to any of the animals, and the black light golf almost proved to be too much for her. But as long as she could crawl on the padded floor and not see any of the animals, she was fine. I think it was because crawling on that floor beat crawling on the wood floor at home. Much more comfortable.

No one wanted to take a picture with me, as you can tell. :)
We also went to temple square that night to see the lights. It was amazingly crowded and I couldn't figure out why until I realized it was Monday night.... darn all those Mormons with their FHE traditions.

This is the "I'm so tired and onory" face of Evelynn right before we went home.

  1. This looks like a really fun place! I didn't know it existed. (Well, I knew that Temple Square existed...I am talking about the Kangaroo place.)
